Newcastle Chamber Choir are touring to the 2026 World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden! The World Choir Games is the largest global choral festival and competition: based on Olympic ideals and drawing choirs from around the world to compete for the highest accolade in choral music.

We strive to proudly represent Australia at an elite level and introduce the international community to the uniqueness of Australian Contemporary Choral music through our newly commissioned works.

After our success winning two Gold medals at each of the previous two World Choir Games (in Gangneung, Republic of South Korea 2023 and Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand 2024), our choir is excited to showcase our competition repertoire for our beloved home crowd, in one of the best concert halls in the region!
